Flute Corrugated Boxes

The corrugated paper is fluted paper that keeps the moisture from entering the box. The corrugated papers also give the material inside the box cushioning effect and protect them from accidental damage or transit.

Depending upon the strength of the box, the number of corrugated papers and linerboards used in the box varies. The flutes come in various size and they are known as flute profiles. Usually, large flutes give more strength and cushioning effect than smaller flutes.

Smaller flutes give more flexibility making it easy for the boxes with smaller flute profiles to be folded easily. Further, it is possible to combine small and large flute profiles within the same box to control the strength, flexibility and printability and give the desired qualities to the boxes.
